Yoga Resources

  • Dayna Gelinas, owner of New Day Yoga, was my instructor in the Atlanta area. She offers daily classes and has one of the few Christ-centered Yoga Teacher Training Courses in the U.S. She also holds retreats at the Monestary of the Holy Spirit (Join us in November).   • My Statesboro Yoga teacher, Fred Richter, offers hour-long sessions every Monday afternoon/evening at 4:30 and the 6 p.m at Trinity Episcopal Church.  The class is free, but donations to the "Trinity Friends of Yoga" mission fund are welcome.   Fred also teaches Wednesday mornings at 9:30 at Yoga on Vine. Classes there are $13 per session (1 1/2 hours), or $80 for an eight week session. Please see Yoga on Vine's website for more information. 
  • Jo Ann Steffen offers an intermediate level Yoga class at Trinity Episcopal Church on Wednesday's at 4:30. Classes are free, but donations are welcome. 
  • Adult and Children's Yoga classes are available on thru the Bulloch Recreation Center.
