SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION

We are pilgrims, together, on a spiritual journey toward truth. This ministry was founded based upon personal experiences with God and upon the following Biblical principles:

  • Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself. -- Mt 22: 37-39
  • But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. -- Mt 6:33
  • Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. -- James 4:8
  • Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. -- Mt 7:7-8
  • But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. -- Mt 6:6
  • For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light. -- Luke 8:17
  • Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. -- Mt 11:28
  • Peace. Be Still. -- Mark 4:39
  • When Jesus spoke of the Holy Spirit, He said: When He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. -- John 16:13

ABOUT KIM

Kim Owens was born in California and grew up in Oregon. In 1987, she moved to Atlanta, GA where she began her career in Corporate High-Tech Marketing. For many years she moved up the corporate ladder working in Atlanta and eventually commuting to the Boston area. Kim was very good at her work, but never felt that it was her "calling."

In 2002, when her second son was 5-weeks old, Kim received a phone call that became the starting point of a personally profound spiritual journey. (At the time, it seemed more like an end or an ultimatum, "move to Boston or else...")

After an intense soul-searching (and listening) experience, Kim left corporate America and became a bodyworker. Kim is now a Licensed Massage Therapist, NeuroMuscular Therapist, Restorative Yoga and Centering Prayer Instructor.

In 2004, Kim founded Revival Bodyworks Center in Marietta, GA, which was a thriving Christ-centered Bodyworks Clinic. In 2007, in support of her husband's teaching career, Kim and her family moved to the Statesboro, GA area.  In Statesboro, Kim hopes to connect people with their mind/body and the Holy Spirit thru development of community, sharing of tools and facilitation of experiential workshops.
